Where Krishna river originates?

The Krishna river has a large and highly fertile delta. It traces its origins to Arabian sea and offers a large and highly fertile delta that remains continuous flow with Godavari to the northeast. Even though it is one of the longest flowing rivers of the nation yet it is not navigable. It however does provide water for irrigation through a weir, it helps to manage its course. Since, the same is fed by seasonal monsoons, the river flow undergoes fluctuations all over the year. As a result, its major tributaries are Bhima in North while Tungabhadra in South.
