Siddhi and Riddhi are depicted in a paper print by Raja Ravi Varma and are thought to be Lord Ganesha's two consorts. They are thought to have been made by Lord Brahma just so that he could marry them to Lord Ganesha. According to ancient puranas, Lord Ganesha once desired to marry a woman who possessed the same virtues as his mother, Parvati Devi. No girl that resembled Parvati could be found, so Lord Brahma decided to construct two holy girls and arrange for them to marry Lord Ganesha. Brahma used all of his abilities to create two beautiful daughters, giving them the names Siddhi, which means enlightenment, and Riddhi, which means cunning. They can be found in many temples and are adored alongside Lord Ganesha.
